4-Day Money Making Blueprint

Hello Everyone!

Okay, I’m a year older today and feeling it a bit too.  I look back over this past 365 days and a lot has changed in my life… most seems to be for the better although at the time some of these changes tested my sanity and had me asking the powers that be, “Why ME?”

I’ve had many a pity party and I’m here to tell you that the people that show up to these kinds of parties are not the ones you need to hang out with.  Yes, question why things happen the way they do but do not dwell on the negative.  Just except it and try and turn things around… I learned a lot about that this year and still have work to do, but I’ve come a long way I think.

As I sit here and think about the coming year I realize I am only 365 days away from achieving a  goal I have set for myself… or fail to achieve it.  I think I’m closer to failing than achieving at this point but you never know and I will NEVER give up.  And Don’t You Either, okay?

Well, it is 4 AM over here on the east coast of the USA and I can’t sleep… again!

There are a lot of reasons really but that is not the point of me writing to you today.  I only mention it because all of these reasons are pointing me in a direction I wasn’t sure I wanted to go, but may.

This direction would affect all of you so it is an important decision I must make and one that keeps me awake at night… but more on that later.

I wanted to talk to you today about your articles.  I have read so many of them my head is spinning… some are really good and some not so good.  Please, don’t take offense when someone says what your doing can be improved upon, I have people in my life that tell me this all the time and I always consider what it is they have to say… even though they are usually wrong! lol

Anyway, I wanted to stress the importance of your first paragraph in every article you write.  This should be considered as your “lead” and needs to convey the entire idea or point of the article to come.

A lot of people think this should be done in the title and if it can be, that would be awesome.  Problem is our titles have to have our keywords in them and most article directories limit how long a title can be so it is very hard to sum up our article message in a single title while including a long tailed keyword phrase.

So, we must do it in our first paragraph.

Now, I thought it might be fun to give you guys a little test and to get your brain wrapped around the idea of writing your first paragraph in a way that delivers the idea of the message most of your readers want to hear.

So you have a homework assignment:

This assignment is taught in journalism classes all across the globe so if you have heard about it and know the answer let this be a refresher course to you.  Otherwise, please answer the question by leaving a comment over at the blog.  Don’t leave your name if you don’t want to but I think this will allow you to see how other people are thinking and give us some idea of what we need to improve upon.

So, let me know you guys are out there and interested in learning by leaving a comment here, okay?  My feelings are very fragile at the moment so if only a couple of you respond you all will be held responsible for the abuse my dog may receive later this afternoon! he-he.

Okay, here is your assignment.  I’m going to give you some facts and I want you to write the lead for a hpothetical story or article:

Here are the facts:   “Jason B. Alexander, the principal of Bayside High School, announced today that the entire high school faculty will travel to Richmond next Wednesday for a colloquium in new teaching methods.  Among the speakers will be anthropologist Milly Speilman, college president Dr. Robert Downey, jr. and Virginia governor Tim Cain.”

Okay, write a two or three sentence lead to this story and I will look them over as they come in and give you what my lead would be.  Sound interesting?  I hope you guys will participate in this, I really do want all of you to have the most success possible so learn, learn, learn!

Ah, LSI, or Latent Semantic Indexing… does it exist and is it beneficial to use it to get your articles and webpages indexed higher?

If you have read any of my stuff you know I’m big on trying to provide quality content and letting the search engines do what they do in hopes that one day they will figure out how to return the most relevant content when someone does a search.

I believe LSI is a step in the right direction and there is proof that it works.  If you go to EZA there is an author with several articles all ranking well and getting the most views.  The odd thing is that this guy bucks conventional wisdom and does not keyword stuff his articles.

His titles have the keywords he’s going for and then the article body uses a lot of other terms that are relevant to them.  He consistently ranks well and gets thousands of views, so, the queston begs, why is this happening?

Here’s what I would do if I were Google and someone typed in the search bar, Washington Redskins.  I would look through all the pages I’ve indexed and try and return the most relevant page for that term.  So, should I return a page that has Washington Redskins stuffed into it as many times as possible or do I return a page that has terms like, football, Joe Theisman, John Riggins, Joe Gibbs, The Hogs, Dan Snyder, Superbowl, current roster, team schedule, wins and losses, FedExField, Redskins draft, and on and on.

 Of course this makes sense to you but if it does, why do we consistently try and build our articles just around the keywords we have found?  In the 4 Day Blueprint I mention finding 6 keyword phrases that are like one another, meaning relevant to each other and then doing the linking method I lay out.

This is because if I had a site on the Washington Redskins and was linking to it with articles that were relevant to the Washington Redskins, even if that Keyword was not in the article title, I’d be building extremely valuable links to the target Squidoo lens or article, right?

LSI just makes sense and there is evidence Google is finding a way to make it work to reward those people who try and provide great content… so as I have said about a thousand times, provide great content and everything else will fall into place!

  How to Realy Make Money Online

If you want to know how to realy make money online then I hope you will keep reading this article.  I spell it out for you!

Actually, I spelled it wrong but that’s the point– Did you notice how I spelled really? (realy)

If you were to do a google search for “How to Really Make Money Online” you would see there are hundreds of thousands of pages returned in the results… your competition for that keyword!

Now, if you drop the L in really, which is exactly what I did by accident when doing keyword research, and what a lot of potential buyers do as well, I get 7 results!

Seven?  Yes, isn’t that fantastic?  Now, Ezine Articles is catching onto this type of ploy, but you can still sneak it past less diligent editors at hundreds of other article directories, blogs, and squidoo lenses across the internet.  

How hard would it be to beat 7 other sites?

Heck, why would you even need to- as long as you’re in the top 10 you’re on the first page baby!

So, when doing keyword research try and type the search phrase as fast as possible and when you make a spelling mistake realize others probably will too.  So why not capitalize on it?
